From Idea to Impact: Our Journey to Eureka!

From Idea to Impact: Our Journey to Eureka!

Amogh Mayee

While pursuing my MBA at Indira Institute of Management, I became part of our college’s Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell). It was there that I first pitched the idea of a sustainable, farmer-focused, ready-to-cook meal kit. Encouraged by mentors and peers, we decided to test our concept on a national stage.

We participated in Eureka!, India’s largest business plan competition hosted by IIT Bombay, competing against over 4,500 entries from across the country. After multiple rounds of scrutiny, mentorship, and presentations—we emerged as the 2nd best startup idea in all of India.

This was a turning point. Investors started listening. Professors saw potential. And our small idea suddenly had national validation. Eureka! didn’t just give us a trophy—it gave us confidence. It told us that Poshaqq wasn’t just a noble idea; it was a scalable business model rooted in empathy, innovation, and economic viability.

Today, that spark continues to guide us. From stage pitches to supermarket shelves, Poshaqq remains committed to creating easy-to-cook, long shelf life Indian meal kits that transform both farming and food habits in India.
